My children absolutely LOVE going to Grandpa and Grandma H's house for a visit. We decided to visit them for a week this summer and do some fun things such as:
Backyard marshmallowing...
play outside...
visit cousins...
attend cousins' primary activity (make butter in a jar, build log cabin houses out of frosting and pretzel sticks, make a bonnet, eat homemade ice cream, etc)...
have a picnic...
visit a little farm...
browse at a nature center...
ride on a carousel...
and reupholster the seat on one of Grandpa's trail bikes. I know, I'm such a wizard with a sewing machine...and I'm humble about it, too. ;)
What a fun week! I'm glad we did it! :) Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa! We love you! :)
