Looks like we're going into escrow. :)
I think what I'd like to do to the kitchen is a cabinet facelift similar to this one. The article makes it sound like something I might actually be able to do! I'm sure we wouldn't be able to get to it until maybe a year or two after we move in, but it's still fun to think about the possibilities.

that kitchen is completely amazing! i think that is definitely the way to go and in about 2-3 years, i hope to see some really cool pics of your really cool you-did-it-yourself home! congrats on going escrow!
